The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with NGO Foundation for
Creative Development (FKR) has completed a new series of six video stories,
featuring examples of the most innovative schools and universities in the country.
The OSCE Mission, along with the British Embassy’s Department for International
Development, are partnering with FKR on this project. This is a chance for all
to see how pupils, students, teachers, parents and education officials get involved
and work on raising standards in BiH’s schools.
Higher education
When it comes to higher education, you will see how students in Mostar get
experienced in winemaking, how Union of students in Banja Luka are working to
improve conditions related to housing and student life, and how Multimedia Centre
in Tuzla is allowing students to study sitting in Tuzla and taking classes given
abroad.
Councils of parents and teachers
All parents care about quality of education that their children get in schools,
as well as about their safety on the rood to schools. Schools like Bugojno Gymnasium,
Elementary Schools Petar Kocic in Prijedor and Simin Han in Tuzla are good examples
among others how the whole community can cooperate and ensure quality education
for young people in safe environment.
We invite all the TV stations interested in obtaining this video tape, in order
to air these stories, to contact their nearest OSCE office in BiH.
